thanks Nick!...........I had to have everyone in the house go upstairs (except the cat of course) so the cat wouldn't be distracted, then I stood out front making noises to get him to do his door-stand-up act (he does that every time I go out, but wouldn't do it easily as soon as I set the tripod up)

Great picture, brings some sentiment and feeling to the finalists. The cats placement almost makes it seem like it understands the the Golden Rule or the 2/3 placement in the frame guideline. It looks like an overcast day, which just adds to the feeling. I really don't like cats, but I really like this picture.
