Yes, that's been there before too, I thought the question was about what's new with the "n" model.

you can on the 1D2 as well.

Thank God, I thought 1D2 can't do it, my 1DII is on its way. Coming from 20D, I don't want another viewfinder without ISO info.

p.4 #4 · 1D MarkII vs 1D MarkII N

Well guys sorry but after about 1 day with the camera I erased all of the websites from my favorites that proved the 'N" to have sharper JPG's than the old 2. I did massive research before I bought this, as I returned the mk2 about 4 months prior due to the weak JPG's it produced. The two CANON sites I was trying to find basically pointed out the new "picture stlye STANDARD" was the exact same as the 20D's parameter 1..........which is the sharper /more Sat of the 2 parameters on the 20D. The other CANON website showed THE MAX in camera processing on the 1mk2, the 10D, and the 20D. I mk2 was only able to process to the level of parameter 2 on the 20D......pamameter 2 is the Low sharpend / Sat level, therfore the mk2 CANNOT process in camera to the level of the "N". Unless CANON"S websites are wrong.

The bottom line to me is the great sharp JPG's that I see when I download the shots to my PC..........without using a average of USM over 300......as I needed on the mk2 set at it's max setting. If this camera didn't produce the shot's to the quality I liked I would have returuned it, just like I did the Mk2. In fact I told the camera store I bought it from that "If it's not better than the mk2, I WILL BE returning it. Also I have a very capable 20D that I would have been more than happy with if the new "N" didn't work out........not to mention saving 4 grand. I'm also not quite sure why the RAW files are totally different if the images are the same as the Mk2, but I don't know as much about that so I won't go there. All I know is I hated the mk2, and love the "N", and the only person I need to prove anything to is me.

.........and in the guys that want to argue with me's defense..........the box on the old Mk2 had one of the corners kinda dented.........maybe it was dropped.........yea that must have been it
