p.19 #1 · Post your super-wide shots!

Thought I would add one more that I took day before yesterday with the 10-22. I actually ended up shooting the same scene (which occurred right after a torrential downpour, dropping a 96 degree day to 75 in about 20 minutes and accounts for the mist against the mountain--and the moody feeling of the shot) with 3 different lenses--the Canon 35/2 and the 24-70L

For those that don't know, those are tobacco fields in the foreground. PIlot Mountain, NC in background.

To compare to other lenses, see here for 35mm http://www.pbase.com/picnic/image/46585421
and here for 60mm

Melor,

in that first pic, the flowers with the 15mm fish, did you process in the vignetting, or was that the actual lighting. Either way it is a really nice shot.

The vignette and just about everything else but the actual petals are photoshop.

Glad you like it! Thanks for the comments. My 15 mm FF fish gets used for people, landscape, flower, etc. shots. A favorite lens of mine. Here is a gallery of nothing but fish shots.

Sala, do you have the details of that pic? I'm curious as to how long you exposed that shot for. I always end up over exposing my night shots.

30 secs at f11 with +1 exposure compensation. I don't have a shutter release cable so I can't shoot above 30secs. Hence iso 400.

All of you should get a commission from Canon. I just received my 10-22 today! Can't wait to try it out.
