p.1 #1 · E-M10 MK lll VS Mark IV build quality

I just swapped my OM-1 For a Pan-Leica 50-200. I have The OM-1 MKll and I really don't need two bodies anymore. However, I would like a very small, inexpensive body that I can attach to a Peak Capture clip and attach to my backpack strap when I'm out with my OM-1 and Olly 100-400. It's a pain in the butt to take off my backpack, attach and detach lenses when I come across a scene that requires a shorter lens. So I'm not really concerned with autofocus, noise, or any speed as this would be used only for static scenes. I had an E-M10 MK IV for a short period of time and it was fine but I felt the build quality was a bit sketchy. Does anyone know if the Mark lll has a better build quality ? I'm mostly concerned about the bottom plate.
Gary
Edit: It appears the Mark iii and Mark IV both have plastic bodies. Looks like I'd have to go back to a Mark ii to get the better built metal body.

Maybe just get an L10 for the wider work? It can fit in a small pouch on your backpack strap.

Or you can get an EM 10 variant and have the PD foot attached to an L bracket. So long as your lens isn't massive you should be ok.

Okay. I should have realized that "inexpensive" is a relative word When I say inexpensive I mean that I can get an E-M10 variant for under $400. The L bracket is something I've been thinking about. I have one on my OM-1. If the bottom plate of these smaller, cheaper bodies is suspect, would adding an L bracket make a difference as far as "sturdiness" goes ? After all, the bracket is attached to the bottom plate. I genuinely don't know.
Very much appreciate the response.

There's a guy on the MFT forum at DPR who may be able to help with your question about EM 10 variants.

"Gary0319" is his handle, He is pretty deep into the Olympus ecosystem.

When I'm out with my OM-1+100-400 setup, I have a RX100vi in a MegaGear case on my belt. Very convenient and it covers me from 24 to 800mm. Downside is that the macro is seriously lacking compared to the Oly lenses.
