I’ve used Walters in the past, and they were fine and reasonable. Then the owner passed and they jacked their prices up to the expert level shops so I stopped using them. I only used them for cheap gear, but one nice repair they did back then was fix a backed out internal screw on a Nikkor 45 GN lens (which prevented it from focusing) for I think $40.

Last time someone asked me about Rollei repairs I sent them to Harry Fleenor in Manhattan Beach.
It's a tough business but it's all about love of the customer because everything worth repairing is for personal reasons at this point.
I used Harry to CLA a 2.8 E and a 3.5.
He refused to work on my 2.8 GX - saying he does not touch the 'new stuff'. I was disappointed as it needed a repair - I had just bought it from the big Leica shop Schouten in Holland via ebay. It was described as 'perfect' but the aperture and shutter dials were incredibly stiff.
Steve's Camera in Culver City repaired it - they said some inner plate was bent from perhaps an impact to the lens assembly. The camera was appropriately packaged when I got it, so it must have been like that with Schouten. Anyway, Steve's repaired it for under $200 IIRC, and Schouten actually refunded me the cost once I sent them the bill.
But it was weird that Harry flat out refused to take a look.
