I've spent a good amount of time learning about these amazing little kingfishers and photographing them over the last couple of months in central Portugal . I'm familiar with our Belted kingfisher and how difficult they are to approach but these little blue bullets are such a challenge to photograph on the wing, just another week to photograph them, it's been a blast going to miss them.
