I found this rare butterfly to my home area seeing it ONLY at "Butterfly Exhibits".
"Morpho- Morpho peleides" Mexico - Columbia-Venezuela verso view(underwing)
It was a very cool morning and I was using a Canon EF-s35mmf2.8 IS. on a Canon 90D. He was "stirring" though.
He was stunned by the coolness and would not move...

My patio on a Mandvella plant-Recto view(underwing)
I use "The Concise Atlas of Butterflies of the World"@Bernard d'Abera and the butterfly guide at the Natl Arboretum and Brookside Gardens as my guides. The exhibit placards are posted at the Natl Arboretum and also Brookside Gardens. All "references" show "almost% the same view BUT I concur the "red band on the wing" and not so precise "underwing dots" "paused" myself also.
The "Red Admiral" is a resident butterfly also. I see it often but not with this exact pattern. So my "?" dressed that.
Thanks mate!
