It's been so hot this summer, that it has only really been cool all the way up at the top of the Catalinas. Just a few thousand feet down and it's still been a little toasty. It finally cooled off enough to make an afternoon at one of my favorite spots viable. Here are a few from the day:

#4: This one was a last minute find. I've been up there a ton of times and never seen this perspective. I think a little more dramatic light will be great here, but I also liked the more subdued tones right after sunset in this shot as well:
