Up for sale is a Hasselblad Xpan kit with the 45mm & 90mm lenses, as well as the rare & expensive centre filter, OEM hood, and presentation cases & caps for both lenses as well as the body.
The good; Fresh from a full CLA by renowned Xpan Tech Bob Watkins at Precision Camera Works, so it is fully cleaned & calibrated. I ran one roll through it upon it's return, and it worked flawlessly. The CLA wasn't cheap, and took quite a while, (8 months) and comes with a 6 month warranty so please consider that when comparing to other listings of non-CLA'd Xpans.
The not quite as good; Like most other Xpans, it suffers from paint loss. I have seen way, way worse, but there is some paint missing here & there so certainly not mint. As well, while on route to Bob for repair, somehow the plastic trim around the eyepiece cracked. I have no idea how, as I have packed up loads of gear securely without any issues in the past, the only thing I can guess that happened is that maybe it was inspected by US Customs & not repacked properly afterwards. The good news is that Bob did a fine job of repairing it, and it does not affect function in any way at all. That being said, this unfortunately hits the value of the camera, so I have had to reduce my asking price accordingly from what I was originally going to list it at.
This is your chance to get a freshly serviced one of a kind camera with both the 45mm and 90mm lenses and centre filter at decent price. The viewfinder is crystal, and I mean crystal clear. It made me realize it's time to send in my Leica's for CLA!
And now for my B&S diatrabe:
Check my rep, if it is anything less than described I'll take it back for a full refund.
Price is in USD & net to me, but includes shipping within Canada and the US. If PP G&S is preferred, please add 4% to cover the fees.
And while I am always willing to hear out reasonable offers, please keep the low ball offers to yourself.

Paint on all Xpans - v1 or v2 - flakes off very easily. Basically happens the moment that you use them and is not indicative of hard use. The camera body is made of titanium and I guess it is hard to keep paint attached to that!

GLWS.
Yea, that's right. I must have been thinking of the TX-1 / TX-2 that didn't have the same issue... Due to being bare titanium.

TX1 is silver paint over Ti, TX2 is black paint over Ti - just like the Xpans (which of course are the same camera). They all shed their paint like leaves falling in autumn!
The only reason my TX-2 has paint is because from day 1 it has been in a leather half case. Downside is the camera is way more pleasant to handle/use au naturelle.
Anyway, the paint loss is 100% normal and will happen if you use these awesome cameras.

Google Gemini disagrees! But I'll take your word for it over AI.
