I'm selling my Canon S-II rangefinder. This was Canon's first post-war camera to accept LTM lenses, and is the genesis for their extremely successful rangefinder cameras and lenses that were incredibly popular well into the 1960s.
This camera was overhauled with new curtains in 2025.
Cosmetically this example shows some honest wear, mostly on the bottom plate, and there is some repaired "vulcanite" sections on the front.
Mechanically the shutter is working really nicely. All the dials and transport are smooth.
Optically the viewfinder is very clear and the rangefinder is quite strong.
A great user camera.
