I'm selling my beautiful Topcor-S 5cm f2 that was overhauled by DAG in 2025.
This is the first variant of the Topcor-S lens, the second variant is a "panda"style, and the third variant (most common) has a black aluminum design barrel. Same optics in all three.
The Topcor-S 5cm is, to me, the high-water mark of the 50mm LTM lens. It's a Biotar design (modified double gauss) made by the second biggest optical firm in post-war Japan. At f2.8 and beyond it rivals or eclipses the Rigid Summicron in resolving power, and at f2 will swirl in certain settings if you want it to.
Cosmetically it's a fantastic example. Mechanically the focus is very smooth, and the aperture clicks nicely at each half and full stop.
Optically it's the one you want. No fungus, scratches, haze, separation, or oil.
