A lot of people start out with a zoom lens, but if you want that ultra-crisp, cinematic look where your subject pops and the background melts away into buttery smooth blur (yeah, the nerds call it bokeh), you need a fast prime lens. At f/1.8, this thing is an absolute beast in low light. If you’re shooting inside a dimly lit garage workshop or out in the woods under a thick canopy of trees, this lens just drinks in the light.
Why I’m selling it:
Like the other gear I’m clearing out, I’m streamlining the studio setup. This lens is incredible, but it’s just not getting the rotation it deserves right now. It needs to go to a good home where it’s actually going to get clicked into a camera body.

Performance: Autofocus is dead accurate and completely silent. Panasonic specifically designed this lineup to have almost zero "focus breathing," so when the camera pulls focus from the background to the foreground, the image doesn’t do that weird, distracting warping effect. It’s perfect for video.
Bonus Feature:
Panasonic made their f/1.8 prime lenses the exact same physical size and weight. So, if you run this on a gimbal or a drone, you can swap this lens out for their 50mm or 85mm without having to completely re-balance your whole rig. It’s a massive time saver.
