Yes, I enjoy bird photography a lot but my age is creeping up fast and it is getting tougher and tougher for me to go out and do it in a meaningful way. Lately, I am focusing more on travel photography and my A1 Mark II doesn't get to be used that much anymore. My previous A1 saw quite a bit more usage but now, its successor sadly doesn't get enough love.

Although I have been contemplating for a while but now, I have made up my mind to sell my Sony A1 Mark II. But the time has come hence this post.

I bought it new and it comes with everything when new as back then, including the box, unused strap, two eye cups, double battery charger (love this!), some kind of cable fastener that I never used and two batteries. It comes with a B&H receipt although not in my name. In addition, I will throw in an OEM Sony NP-FA battery. So, you will get two batteries in total.

The camera operates like new without any issues whatsoever. It just works and does so flawlessly. I will reset the camera to the factory setting later.

The camera is in excellent shape. Please take a look at the images here. I try to describe it as much as I can but let the images speak about the condition. Sorry for the dust specks... Recently, I used it for portrait in a studio. The flash trigger they had, gave me a hard time and it rubbed quite hard on the hot shoe. To make a long story short, the top of the hot shoe shows some rub marks but it is purely cosmetic. No issues with the hot shoe connection whatsoever. It is more the bad condition of the flash trigger from that studio. Frankly, I didn't think much about it and discovered it later. If I didn't mention it, you may not know about it either but for disclosure sake about the condition, here it is. All functions and operations of the camera work like new.

Ah, yes, the mechanical shutter actuation count... I used electronic shutter of the camera except during studio and portrait sessions where I needed the camera to trigger the flash. Off the top of my head, it should be less than 2,000 as I didn't use it that much while I had it. But I will get the actual count later on and update this FS thread.

I would like to get $4,900 for is shipped to your door using USPS including insurance. It is still selling at retail stores around $6K. So, this is the best price on FM right now. But I would like to get paid using a payment that doesn't incur any fee. If you are local here in Southern California, I can let this camera go minus the cost of shipping of $100. Again, that price includes an extra NP-FZ100 battery.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and thank you for stopping by.

Joshua

I have the following items that I will list separately:

1. OEM Sony VG- C5 - I bought it as "used" from B&H. But it was still sealed and unused when I received it. I am listing it separately but I will be more than happy to sell it together with the A1 II. Yes, it is mint as I didn't get to use it more lately due to inactivity doing bird photography. In addition to the A1 II, I know it will work on the A9 III but I am not sue about that on the A7 V.
2. Leofoto L-bracket for Sony A1 II - it is labeled as for A9 III but since the two share the same body dimension, the usage is interchangeable for both.
3. Two Sony CFE-Type A 160GB cards

SN is completely intact, just not on the image

Forgot to include the dual battery charger in the first image, but it is there and now included in this picture
