Our resident Orb Weaver, who my wife has affectionately named 'Charlotte' is about to domino.
The first image was taken about 3 weeks ago. We noticed what we assume was a tiny males on her web -- there's a good chance he is now digested nutrition for Charlotte.
The 2nd, and 3rd images were taken today -- without flash, and with nuclear background light.
There has been quite a change in sweet Charlotte!

I'm glad I got the second two shots yesterday, because this morning Charlotte was back to her 'bathing suit' form -- she obviously laid all her eggs last night. I haven't been able to locate the egg sack, it's probably somewhere in the middle of the Abelia Grandiflora bush she has her web in.
My wife really likes having her around -- it's that 'motherhood bond' thing.
