It is embarrassing how far behind I get on PP work... I evidently enjoy walking and taking pic's more than processing them these days... odd how attitudes change, I used to not be able to wait to see how photo's came out, especially in my darkroom days, watching prints come to life in the developer tray. Anywho...
Another morning walk, and I find it uncanny, last walk I found a juvi black crown night heron hiding in the bush, and an adult BCNH out and active, this time... I found a juvi yellow crown night heron hiding in the bush by the creek, and an adult YCNH out and about. Coincidence? Prolly not...
He notices me at first...

Awesome subject and images. Absolutely love the first three, just have a great look to them. Like you I would rather be out shooting than at the computer

Thanks Morris! Glad you enjoy the final leg of the process. I'm enjoying it more as I learn to lean down my workflow... culling in a fast raw reader and then using a star rating system with a second tier culling, then ONLY editing the 5 star shots is helping save storage space and editing time. I seriously don't know how people deal with pre-capture and hundreds of near identical shots... I'd go mad.

What a walk Eric, like to have taken that walk with you. Superb work with these images! Out shooting versus PP'ing, I run hot and cold between the two, but hard to beat being out in the wild finding the wildlife.
