I am looking to buy 12-100mm pro lens. I went to MPB site and found plenty of them, used. Once I started to check the description of individual lenses, each has
"Notes:
The internal optics have a small amount of moisture, but this doesn't affect functionality."
It looks strange to me. The lens is weather proof, how the moisture gets inside all of them?

That's just some BS that MPB uses to knock down the quoted trade-in value to sellers. I've had so many mint lenses, ranging from Leica M (not weather sealed) to Nikon G (weather sealed), and they always used that reasoning to knock down the quote after they receive and inspect my gear.
As you can tell from my extensive FM feedback, the gear I sell is usually in excellent to mint condition, so MPB is just finding excuses to knock down trade value.
I wouldn't worry about the moisture condition if you really want the lens. One positive of MPB is that they do honor their warranty well.
