I was saddened to learn that Chas Glatzer, a well-known Canon wildlife photographer, recently passed away following an automobile accident. I don't remember if Chas was a member of this forum or not, but he was an inspiration to a lot of wildlife photographers.

Incredibly sad. I never met him in person, but he often commented on my FB photos. He even liked one of my photos and worked it differently to show me different techniques. Always happy to answer questions and help myself and others learn.
I would not be the photographer that I am today if it were not for Chas Glatzer. Over the past decade I went on many of his workshops and August this year would have been another workshop. He was always happy to answer questions and always put others before himself. It was a blessing to work with such an individual.
My heartfelt condolences to his family; your father was an inspiration to many.
Shocking to hear Cliff! I learnt nearly all of my basics from Chas Glatzer. The photography community will miss him dearly. What a loss! My condolences to the family!
