p.1 #1 · RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE - Z8 with Nikon 180-600 Bag

I need a "horizontal" padded bag (not a backpack) to fit my Z8 and a Nikon 180-600 lens attached (This body and this lens only ). Thank you in advance. Jay

Think Tank Digital Holster 150 is what I use for a Z9 & 180-600 combo. It's more of a vertical bag but fits like a glove.

I think the Gura Gear Chobe 16 2.0 will hold the combination if you reverse the hood.

The Think Tank 150 holder is a good solution. I have one, but find the the Think Tank Glass Taxi, which will hotel that combo, plus a couple shorter lenses and shooting necessities, is a good choice when you may need to switch to a different shooting situation than one that requires a long lens.

Tenba Solstice 12L is a perfect fit. No room for any extra lenses or bodies but it does have pockets for batteries or memory cards, etc.

This would have been my recommendation, but the shooter did not want a backpack... I think I use a Glass Limo for my "smaller" long lens bag and a ThinkTank/Mindshift Long Lens bag when/ I haul around my Z9 w/ 400 f2.8TC.

The beauty of the Chobe is that it fits under an airline seat, holds a computer, cables, etc... You can buy an insert and it behave like proper satchel/style bag. I use my Chobe 2.0 13" to carry an extra body and all of my non-camera photo junk when I'm on a long trip.
