p.1 #1 · For those that have purchased the Apple Studio Display XDR
I need an external monitor to use with my MBP M4 Max 14" for both photography as well as every day tasks. I do some post processing using HDR display so that capability is valuable to me. As we all know, these monitors are quite expensive. For those that have purchased this monitor and used it for a while, what are your thoughts? Anything you've learned that you wish you would have known beforehand? I'll probably need the nano texture coating as well as it will be used in locations where I don't have complete control of the ambient lighting. I have the nano texture coating on my MBP and have been very happy with it.
On a side note, I have the ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCXR that I use with my Mac M1 Studio in a controlled lighting environment. It was a lot less than the Studio Display XDR (and I got it before the new monitor was announced). The display itself seems quite good, but there are a number things that I'm not wild about (fan noise, menu control, calibration application UI) and would not buy it again.
