Switched systems and now have a new-to-me camera and lenses. At the same time I have also abandoned my C1 subscription, which is where I used to do all my raw conversions including any mono conversions. Hence I am now down to ACR's raw workflow and PS for the finalizations, and trying to figure out a decent B&W workflow. This is my first deeper attempt with the new equipment and software. I definitely still have some tweaking to do, but think I'm beginning to find a groove with them all.

I'm looking at this on a non-calibrated monitor so take any comments with a grain of salt (no pun intended). My initial reaction is that the processing seems a bit harsh and I see some posterization in the sky. It is a difficult subject to process anyway but maybe a little less contrast and maybe raise the black point a little in curves? I don't know ACR well enough to offer more than that. I do like the image.
