I just stepped up to a new Lenovo laptop with a glossy tandem OLED display, and it has completely changed how I look at my images.
Technically speaking, the images aren’t any better, but the presentation is on an entirely different level. The contrast, the vivid punch of the glossy panel create a visual that is unmatched. Not even the Apple studio display comes close to it. It makes everything look incredibly rich and polished right out of the gate. Even my flawed images.
I think it makes a little dangerous for editing because it makes things look too good.
Now I need a new 27 or 32 inch version for the desk!
Anyone else finding that these new tandem diplays completely change your perception of older work?
Go get one before your next camera or lens It's a game changer! Now I dont feel so bad sharing crappy images. But you have to have a similar disply to see them.

Make sure you getthe latest version they have the series 3 intel processor and come in cosmic blue. You can get the 2025 version with the series 2 processor for about 1800.00 but battery life on this is supposed to be insanely long.

i feel like a fool. my new laptop does NOT have the Tandem Oled. But the visual is still mind blowing. I willget the 16 inch version 3.2k which is a tandem oled. If it looks so good on my laptop, i cant even imagine what itwill look like on the one with Tandem Oled
