For sale is a Leica MP black paint MP modified to assemble alike a Japanese M3J. It takes a M3 top plated a MP body body to made it.
The M3 top plate was modified with a single flush hole and a larger film counter. The MP body was stripped, overhauled and assembled with the M3 top and then painted to a Leica black paint finish. The MP lugs were were also replace with the M3 type eye sharp lugs. The assembly and paint job were done by Shueido Camera shop of Taipei. It is now a beautiful M3J type camera which functioning smoothly and accurately. it comes with the original MP box and accessories as shown.
Selling for $7000.00 net, but including domestic insured shipping. Compared to original Japanese M3J which sell for approximately 43,000 or so, this is just the friction of the cost and it works the some. What a bargain!
