pictures like these make me chuckle. when you think of birds that aren't water fowl, you normally don't think of them in water like this. my wife and i have several bird baths on our deck and watching the robins and other birds hop in and do what the starling is doing in your pics is one of favorites sources of entertainment. you might try increasing your shutter speed if the light is good enough the next time. thanks for sharing.
