There are too many anachronisms to be seriously looking like the old days. Just some kind of weird joke?

The IP of the soft rock band Orleans 1979 hit "Love Takes Time" is still under copyright protection, as it was released in 1979 and copyright lasts for the life of the author (Written by Larry Hoppen and Marilyn Mason) plus 70 years. Just sayin
I have a model 1 with the split focusing. I think it was from 1973 or 1974. I was just a child and the first SLR I had access to. The macro lens kit gave 1:1 which was quite unusual for that type of camera.
I used that SX-70 for many years, especially for previewing the complicated manual multi-flash setups I used for macro with Nikkors in the early 80s. The model 1 did not have the tripod mount so you had use to the accessory tripod mount. It wasn't bad since you could leave that part on the tripod and use it as sort of a "quick" release.
