I learned of Jeff's passing a few days ago. I met him virtually during the pandemic through a mutual friend although Jeff thought we had crossed paths in person years before. I had a number of conversations with him over Zoom/email, and found him to be such an insightful resource and a wonderful, passionate, and inspirational photographer/human. Per the OP, he was truly a giant.
