I’m selling my black Leica Summilux-M 28mm f/1.4 ASPH. (11168), as I am no longer using it often enough to justify keeping it.
This is a well-used lens, but it remains a beautiful performer. Front and rear glass are clean, with no scratches. It recently returned from a CLA performed by DAG Camera Repair in April. The aperture ring turns smoothly with firm, positive detents, and the focus ring is buttery smooth. Internal dust is minimal. There is no oil on the aperture blades and no haze, fungus, or element separation.
Photos of the lens, along with recent sample images taken with it, are included below.
The sale includes the original boxes, paperwork, leather pouch, and front and rear caps.
This is what Leica lenses were built to do. Kudos. The panting, swirling, impressions captured on the stage of life. You're a digital Degas! TBH you and this lens do not need to part. where can i see more of your work?
