p.1 #1 · 7Artisans 75mm f1.25 II focusing adjustment
I just got the 7a 75mm f1.25 II and it is indeed quite a nice piece of optics. I got such a good deal that I am planning on keeping it even though the lens is not able to focus at infinity, not even close -- even stopped down to f/16 infinity is soft. The hard stop is at something like 25-50 metres at most.
I am not talking about the rangefinder calibration, which is intended to be done by the user, i am simply referring to looking through the EVF when focusing as far as the lens will go. Indeed as I mainly plan to use the lens with an EVF, I don't really
bother doing the rangefinder calibration for now.
Has anyone tried calibrating the infinity hard stop on these lenses yet? I see there are small screw holes near the focusing ring..... I also sent a message to 7Artisans Europe but so far still waiting for any response.
