p.1 #1 · Sony NP-SA100 Battery Plan

I'm trying to figure out how to best manage the NP-SA100 batteries required by the a7rVI.
The mean/median voltage is higher and the battery form factor is rather prismatic, so I'm assuming that pouched cells of a different type are used. The vast majority of chargers are geared for the typical INR cells that have the very common terminal charge voltage and current.

How long after a new battery introduction will generiac batteries and chargers begin to appear?
I'd like to get a cheap charger to use for testing the batteries (mainly for the form factor/contacts), but it's not strictly necessary.
I'd also like to have a lighter 2nd charger option. For now I guess it will be best to travel with 2 chargers.

Don't forget that you can charge the camera battery through the C port.
