I am just a hobbyist in photography and used the original X-Rite Display calibration colorimeter for some time until it got outdated and then obtained from an FMer I think the second itieration (the one with the sticky surfaces upon aging). It works fine with Color Navigator 7 for my Eizo CS240 and it used to work on my 2019 iMac and my ASUS ProArt PA278CV, I also have a Dell Ultrasharp monitor I would like to calibrate. Now, other than the Eizo, none of the other monitors are recognized. It may be that this calibrator is no longer supported but does anyone know what software available be used? I didn’t want to buy yet another calibrator as they are not used except for occasionally when I want to print mostly color prints. I would appreciate any help.
I've used DisplayCal on various Windows laptops that need to be calibrated. Not sure if that works on your version of MacOS, but check here. https://displaycal.net/#requirements
Thanks atnpro and EB-1 for your responses. The version of iProfiler I downloaded does not recognize this older calibrator, maybe there is an older version that works but not in the newer Macs. DisplayCal looks promising and I will try it in the next few days. Thanks again EB-1.
