This 40mm was a joy to use with my M240 and M10-R and focus with RF is on point even at 1.2. Basically two lenses in one—get a dreamy, classic smooth look at 1.2 but with enough contrast, and a modern, sharp lens at 2.0 and smaller.
Despite its qualities, I realized I was increasingly gravitating to 28/35 as of late, and this lens has been mostly sitting in the cabinet for the last two years.
Includes original box with info booklet. The finish of this lens attracts fingerprints but I have wiped them off to the best of my ability. Very few tiny dust particles are visible under direct light, normal for its age and usage (I bought this around 2019) that never showed up in photos f/8.0 and smaller. Graded more conservatively regardless.
Price reflects the inclusion of the B+W clear filter that was always on the lens, and a Hoya combo light warming filter+CPL. I highly prefer someone who can take everything, but sans filters the price is $460.
