Interesting, HC110 used to be a brownish syrup. As far I knew, the original concentrate was extremely shelf stable, lasting a decade or more, similar to rodinal.

Never used the old one, but I use this often. As you use it, it definitely turns into brown syrup. But it starts this way. I don't know about shelf life, I shoot too much!
