Helios 44-2 58mm f/2 lens in M42 screw mount with original Cyrillic lettering. This is a later-production BelOMO/MMZ version from 1988 made in Minsk, Belarus, with a 52mm front/filter thread.
Glass is clean overall with no haze or fungus. Typical light internal dust consistent with age that does not affect images. Focus ring turns smoothly. Aperture blades show slight oil at the edges but function properly. The outer preset ring is somewhat stiff/finicky, as is common with some Helios copies, but operates through the full range.
A great user copy with clean optics known for swirly bokeh. Adapts easily to modern mirrorless systems (Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF, etc.) with an inexpensive M42 adapter. Includes front and rear lens caps.
