p.1 #1 · Black-necked Stilt snatches a bloodworm

I recently moved to a new area and the local water treatment plant is quickly becoming my favorite go to spot. One of the pools is continuously fed with water and is filled with shorebirds. Black-necked Stilts are always fun to photograph and I got lucky to see this stilt catch a midge fly larve aka bloodworm in this sequence.

They are real fun to watch and photograph. Edmonds in WA, I been there before, got some good birds from the fishing pier there! I used to live in Olympia.
