p.1 #1 · Godox V1pro vs Westcott FJ80

I’m shooting with nikon cameras and already have Godox AD 200s with trigger so it seems like the V1 pro is the logical answer for an on camera flash for me although I love the screen on the westcottt. Would like to hear different opinions. Thanks

Perhaps look at the Godox V100. Even a touch more powerful than the V1 (100Ws) and has a touch screen. I’d recommend sticking with Godox since you can then use it in conjunction with your AD 200 as a two light off camera setup and they work beautifully together. (I have an AD200, three V1s and a V100, plus a couple TT685s, and even though only the V100 and one 685 is Nikon I love that I can use my Canon and Sony version V1s as off camera flash too if I need multiple lights. The interoperability of Godox stuff is great.

Plus 1 on the V100, and I also like the V1 mid as a smaller option for on camera. Both have the same interface and seem to work well on the Z8, Z6 iii and Zf that I have used them on.

Another vote for the V100. Amazing flash.

I'd say just stick with the V100 because the Westcott isn't hugely different, and you can use the V100 with your other Godox lights. I had some misgivings about how the additional mini flash would affect the weight/size, but it's easy to remove. The new full color screen and easier to use UI is worth it over the V1Pro
