p.1 #1 · My A7RVI and 100-400GM content: lots of photos and video
Hi Everyone,
I'm back with new content with the newly announced gear You can see a 30 minute video about the camera and 20 minute video about the lens. The content is kind of overlapping , as I often used it both together.
A7RVI video:
100-400 f/4.5 GM video:
I have been using both the camera and the lens for several weeks now. Feel free to ask me any questions!
p.1 #3 · My A7RVI and 100-400GM content: lots of photos and video
I’ll take a look at the videos when I get time later, but my first question is it sharper than the 200-600, and by how much if it is. Also I haven’t seen price listed yet…

Thanks Albert. Just watched. I'm very interested in the dynamic range but I guess we'll have to wait for raw support to get a better idea - notwithstanding the jpg example you showed.

Great review and photos, thank you!! You’ve come all the way to Turkey and even to Muş; I live in Van, which is a neighbor to Muş. If you ever visit again, you must let me know—I won't let you leave without treating you to some tea!

Might take you up on it one day I didn't meet anyone that spoke 1 word of English, haha.

Thank you for these. Nicely done. Beautiful shots. Your outro, left me with the question about the upgrade oath from the 100-400 Variable aperture lens. I’d like to know more about how this new lens compares with the smaller variable aperture lens when it comes to IQ parameters. I don’t find my current 100-400 lacking. If I’m carrying around something this big it better give me reach or fast aperture. From here, it looks like maybe it gives me neither?

Thank you.
I have a7r5. My questions are:
1. Is there any improvement to internal intervalometer to make it work together with exposure bracketing? A7R5 does not allow both modes together. Sometimes I take timelapses using intervalometer or using bracketing drive and starting each manually BT remote. But I would like to have both work together.
2. Is there any improvement to internal intervalometer to make it work with timed exposures? Timed exposure mode allows exposures longer than 30s without having to use Bulb mode. But they do not work with internal intervalometer.
Both can be solved by external intervalometer (I have one) but I would prefer to have internal solution.

Thank you for watching as always.

I watched your video in youtube. Quick question. What do you think about the lens compared to 200-600? Do you think with 1.4X TC this will be equal or better than 200-600 in sharpness and AF speed?
