Haven't seen anything regarding these two rumoured lenses for GFX on here.

Given the success of the Mitakon 65/1.4, these might be great manual focus options with proper coverage of 44x33.

I've been wanting Fuji to build a native 35/1.4 or 1.7 and that seem logical in the line of fast primes, 55/80/110. I really like 35mm in medium format. These new Mitakon's kind of straddle that desire but I'm pretty interested in them if they aren't super heavy which tends to be a common comment about the 65/1.4.

The 35/2.4 looks very small for the spec. My concern is they may have compromised performance to get there. I love 45mm on GFX and the native 45/2.8 is an underrated lens in terms of rendering. I wish Fuji would make an f/1.7 sibling of it.

I've ordered the 30/2.4, and will share some basic tests and sample shots when it arrives. My chief hope is that it performs well in IR, which the 23/4 and 30/3.5 GF lenses do not.

Do you mean high optical vignetting? 😬

Anybody in the US been able to order either of these yet? Very curious to try out some low light landscape work with them.

45/1.4 is definitely not available yet, not even in China.

I should have my 30/2.4 within a week, I'll try to give it a good testing, although I don't have the 30/3.5 GF for comparison.

Is there a release date on the 45 1.4? Have barely seen anything on it

No I haven't even seen any pictures from it. I'm guessing that is still months away although I would love to be wrong and have it release suddenly one day.

Preliminary impressions of the 30/2.4 is that it definitely covers the sensor, but is soft in the periphery wide open and needs small apertures to sharpen up. I need to do some controlled testing this weekend.

It has pretty shocking and complex pincushion distortion which cannot be easily corrected in LR. It will need a profile.

Doesn't have an infrared hotspot at any aperture though.

Size is a bit smaller than the native 45/2.8 but weight is approximately the same. My 45/2.8 is significantly sharper in the periphery wide open, it seems the 30/2.4 has a fair bit of field curvature (inward toward the photographer at the edges) which means it will do well for landscapes but might not photograph brick walls very well.

Interesting. I guess that's why they went with the "pittura" name. Any major vignetting?

Vignetting is very well controlled.

From f/5.6 sharpness across the frame is acceptable. f/11 seems sharpest in the corners.

Never gets fully sharp in infrared, but my DIY filter might have something to do with that so I will try with a better IR Chrome filter later.

Here is a quick handheld aperture series on my lunch break, no editing just import into LR and export to JPG. Note the fence on the right curves inward and takes longer to sharpen up so my theory about field curvature was wrong or I have a decentered lens. Will test properly on the weekend. Just ignore the IR tests if they don't interest you.

Annoyingly, it has no detents between f/11 and f/22 and they're really close together on the aperture ring. Likewise the rotation between 1m and infinitely is literally 5-10 degrees which is very fiddly. I don't need 0.2m focusing on a 30mm lens, I don't understand why Chinese lens makers are so obsessed with close focus.
