I purchased this bundle from a well known FM seller bherman. Since I bought it it has been in the box I ended up getting an MP and prefer this since I have some M lenses from my digital M and frankly can't afford to have so many Leica's.
Price listed is desired but I need to sell so will accept reasonable offers.
But this is a real gem and I'm sad to lose it. It is still as beautiful and remarkable as he described it in his listing. The only thing I'll add is this article which I found very well written and inspiring:
I've done many high end sales, with excellent feedback please review. I am happy to pay for shipping if you will pay for any transaction fees. Here's the text from the original listing, which is very detailed/informative:
I have for sale a rare gem. I have a Leitz, Leicaflex SL2 50 Jahre Special Edition film camera (kit) with the box (torn off top flap) and manual in 95% MINT condition with a full DAG CLA done in December 2022, a Leica 50mm F/1.4 Summilux R E55 3 Cam lens with both caps in 98.5% MINT condition Ser: 311xxxx and a B+W filter, a Luigi Leicaflex SL2 Case, (new) and a new Tap and Dye Black, long, Horween leather strap with Peak Design ends (new)
Only 1750 "50 Jahre" Leicaflex SL2s were made within the two years of production.
Youve probably heard the storyLeica made these SL2s to such a high standard, they lost money on each SL2 sold hoping that they would sell lenses with it, which is why the production run was only for two years. This is a fact!
As for the Leicaflex SL2, everything has been CLAd by DAG in December 2022. The Viewfinder is super clean and bright, the Shutter Speeds are spot on, the meter has been adjusted for the Px625 Alkaline battery, the VF illuminator and battery check all work. The Self-timer works. Everything is up to factory specs.
The Leica 50mm F/1.4 Summilux is pretty much as-new with minimal internal dust. I can barely see any with a flashlight. This is a 3 Cam lens, so it works great on the Leicaflex SL2 and it will work on all Leicaflex film cameras and on Leica Digital with an R-L or R-M Adapter.
This is a gorgeous kit that will provide a lifetime of analog enjoyment.
