These Super 8 cameras DO NOT WORK, well, partially. I am only selling as I am a stay-at-home dad with two kids and a full-time wedding photographer. I just don't have the time to fix them and don't feel like sending them out, as I already have 3x working ones for my wedding business. I have all three original bags for each camera.
ALL three of the cameras have BEAUTIFUL GLASS. It's a shame, really, how clean they are.
The Canon AF514XL-s was working a month ago, but then the motor died. I believe the meter still works. When it was working, the Zoom worked perfectly as well. I used it for about 4 weddings with absolutely no problems.
If you want to resell, more power to you, or if you want to fix them, this is a pretty dang good price, especially for how insane Super 8 cameras are going for now. They are like the new "Leica".
The 310XL is completely dead. Has all the pieces, though.
The 514XL is a shame; the meter and motor worked about two months ago and then gave out. I was in the process of repairing it, but then wedding season started, and there was no way I was going to finish it.
