I'm having trouble keeping up with the US tariff situation given that one of the tariffs was just struck down in court. Does anyone know how this currently works for US buyers purchasing from the store? I am looking at the 17mm Shift lens for GFX which is $999 before the sale and $850 after. I assume they ship from China, but I am not sure.

I had same question last time and this was their answer
door to door price. No need pay any vat/duty for US buyers only

I ordered from the store and did not have to pay anything other than what was charged when ordering.
You will love the lens on the GFX, been using it for the past month or so and love it.

Thanks, it's in my cart and hoping to decide today. One question: it defaults on the checkout page to "express shipping," which isn't the same name as "standard" or "expedited" that they use on their FAQ. Do you recall how they shipped your order and what it said when you were checking out? Would be nice to get the expedited speed of FedEx included in the cost.

to be honest, I don't recall how it shipped, but will say it shipped pretty fast.
Before the Laowa I was using the Canon 17mm TSE and once comparing them side by side I sold the Canon. The laowa is much sharper out to the edges when shifted, overall a great lens.

The last mile side of my shipment was Fedex International Connect Plus. I ordered on 6/26 and the lens is to be delivered tomorrow. (Fedex still says today....but I can see it isn't going to be today...it's still outbound from NJ.)
