Just curious if this was EFCS? (The yellow flower photo above shot at 1/6400 shutter speed.) I like the bokeh quality but wondering if or how much EFCS might have distorted it.

Good question. As long as I can recall I always shoot mechanical shutter, but alas I checked my settings and some point in the past I set my R5 to EFCS and never set it back to mechanical. My R5 MKII is set to mechanical. Today's forecast is 60% showers so won't be shooting today.
One thing I can say I am really enjoying shooting with this lens. As much as my as I enjoy shooting my VCMs this Voigtlander is definitely giving a different rendering than the 35 VCM (colorwise and look) and I plan on using it often.
The only downside I have experienced is shooting at 1.4. Hard to nail focus handheld. I am relying on magnification but even then the slightest movement while pressing the shutter button has an impact. Of all my manual focus lenses this one seems to be the most challenging to keep the focus at 1.4 handheld.
Does anyone know of European stores that have stock of this lens right now? I could only find https://www.photospecialist.fr/ but they don't ship to my country (Portugal).

Try the following stores:
Kamerastore; Foto Erhardt; MPB and/or Jo Geiner. You can also try the Leica Classic Store in Lisbon. Good luck

Here is the official distributor link from Voigtlander's website:
It lists Niobo LDA as the official distributor in Portugal and provides a website for them. They ought to be able to provide you a copy of the lens at the official EU MSRP.
Unfortunately none of them have the lens in stock yet, I can only find it in a couple French retailers but they don't ship to Portugal. I guess I'll just have to wait until availability becomes a bit more widespread, thanks anyway!
I paid the bill on Saturday morning and Steven at CameraQuest had it to me by today, 4pm Monday. Unexepected surprise.
Lighter weight is felt and appreciated. The lens does not feel as chunky as the other Z mounts. Quarter pound lighter. Here are some size shots to show the differences in size. The 28/1.5 and 50/2 are about as big as I like on the Zf (other Nikons, I probably wouldnt' care. Zf ergo imposes its own "preferences.").
Going to have to shoot it awhile to see if I keep the 35/2(v1), which I like as a mate to the 50/2(v1). Shade is the first really good CV one I've used and it is particularly useful with guiding your finger to the thin aperture ring.
It may be limerence, but the Zf may have found its soulmate.
