This black pre-WWII Elmar 9cm f/4 lens in Leica thread mount is in remarkable condition considering it is 90 years old.
There is slight wear on the barrel but no dings, scratches or dents.
There is no fungus or separation in the elements that I can detect, but it does seem a bit hazy and there are cleaning marks under bright lights.
***Upon closer reexamination, a 1mm scratch on the front element was discovered. Please see the last pic (circled in red).***
The aperture blades are clean and oil-free. The aperture ring is clickless and smooth.
The focus ring is well dampened, if not a bit firm, but also smooth and linear.
