There were hundreds of Tree Swallows on Nickerson Beach the other day. It was a nice warm day with overcast sky and light fog which provide lovely soft light yet not my faverate background for flock photos. I was able to produce a wonderful soft background for some images taking advantage of the light fog.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
1) The background was wonderful so I overlooked the perch

2) This is how close they are to each other on a very long fence that is covered with them

Well done Morris. First and last for me.
Me as well Ted. I showed the others to provide a hint of the numbers. I was going to show them in the gray sky yet decided it was ugly so I did not post it.

Nice set! I really like the environment shots Morris, nice to see them calm for a change and makes me wonder what they are all waiting for, heh.

Thank you Eric,
I believe they are migrating and stopping off to feed and rest after the long flight from New Jersey to Long Island.
