p.2 #1 · Heading to Alaska for the summer (bucket list trip)
You will have an epic time, there is more to see than you can do in several lifetimes (still working on it after 40 years of being there at least some time), photo ops are amazing, not only the natural scenery and the critters, but there is Alaskan street....... fishing villages, float planes etc that I think far more interesting than any big city street. Alaskans are an independent lot and as such make for great street of sorts......... There are many places, the entire west, no roads, you can park that van, grab a plane and see things where no one drives. Have fun !

Thanks I've been fortunate enough to have seen and spent lots of time in the bush... In college I worked summers as a fishing guide for a lodge out of Port Alsworth in Lake Clark NP. We flew daily taking fishing clients all over the area. Our King Salmon camp was on the Nushagak River. I'd spend weeks staying at our bush camp there. As the salmon moved up river we relocated up the Mulchatna River. Fished all around Lake Illiamna as well. I also guided bear photo tours in Lake Clark and Katmai...
