For consideration is Sony's premier telephoto zoom in the G Master lineup — the FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS. A serious, versatile reach lens equally at home on wildlife, sport, or travel work. Optical image stabilization, fast and confident AF, and GM-grade rendering throughout the zoom range. I have taken amazing images with it.
This copy has been lightly used — a handful of outings — and has carried a Hoya HD3 UV filter from day one. The front element is shown unfiltered in the listing images and is in excellent condition. The Hoya HD3 is included with the sale ($100 value).
Included with the lens: original box, front and rear caps, Sony soft case, Hoya HD3 77mm UV filter, original Sony tripod foot, and an RSS Arca-compatible foot for improved tripod/monopod stability — a meaningful upgrade over the stock collar.
One disclosure worth noting: there is a very small cosmetic mark on the lens body — visible in the detail image. It is minor, does not affect optical performance, and I've chosen to point it out rather than let a buyer discover it.
The lens has been carefully stored and responsibly used during my ownership. Moving on only because I've switched systems.
