I guess I have a soft spot for the common birds as they always seem to offer endless possibilities as the seasons change their environment and habits So here is the very common American Robin in a few looks as they prepare for a new family. Not often do I see the male and female together, could never tell one from the other if they were separate !

Your nest photos are great. A step or two to the left or right might have gotten those bright leaves out from behind the Robin in the second image. The squirrel image is sweet.
