Customizing zone focus areas?

p.1 #1 · Customizing zone focus areas?

I have been looking today and can't find any useful information. Where in the menu does one customize the zone focus areas? I am assuming the sizes and orientation can be adjusted. Any information is appreciated.

I was able to set some up using the instructions above. Yes, you can alter height/width and location.

Can this be done for other Sony models, eg A7CR, or only for A1 series?

I don't believe the A7CR has customizable zone AF modes.
It is only on some of the newer cameras and some got the feature with recent FW updates.
The ones I know it is on are A1, A1II, A9III, A7RV, A7IV and A7V.
