This should be great! In a week or so people will complain about focusing problems. Then they will compare it to the 20d and 1d MKII wondering what model to buy, cause after all the XT has most of the features of the other 2 bodies and somehow will be better in some respects.
I can't wait. I love Canon, but I dread when a new body comes out for the forums.
I was thinking the same thing... I dread Canon's new camera releases. I am also betting someone will start rambling that it is better then the 1DsMKII!!!

An XT FAQ thread would be useful, to point people to, and to cut and paste from. Every so often the newly-refined FAQ could be reposted to start a thread so that the thread size could be kept manageable.
Out of curiosity, how are these people getting their XT's early? I thought it wasn't supposed to be released until the 20th? I saw some other people replying to that thread and stating they were getting their XT's this week from Best Buy and even B&H. Am I missing something?
