Volvo produced multiple B10 models, beginning with a front‑engined B10 in the 1930s and later a long-running series of mid‑ and rear‑engined B10 variants from the 1970s through the early 2000s.

The Volvo B18 is one of Volvo’s most iconic engines, produced from 1961 to 1968. It’s a 1.8‑liter, inline‑4, OHV (pushrod) gasoline engine known for exceptional durability — so much so that the world‑record‑holding high‑mileage Volvo P1800S ran over 4.8 million km on its original B18.

Thank you Dan,
Awaiting restoration — my assumption. Or, work on the 'pay-as-you-go' plan?

Nice photo I remember when the Flint River took my brother-in-laws 1969 Alfa Spider about 20 years ago.

We had a 245 wagon that passed with 250K miles - it ate blower motors and I had to repair the OD wires severed by the reverse lock several times, but I loved it. I described its manufacture as a blower motor set on a pedestal and the car constructed around that. Today's marque well beyond our needs and budget.
Nice image Bob.
I owned probably a 1/2 dozen of these cars in the past. You didn't need an advanced degree from MIT to open the hood and the B-18 engine you could actually work on.
