Good point Douglas...The timelessness of the olde style "rocking(hobby) horse" that I(we) grew up with......yet still "around in 2026" THis horse had been repainted over 50+ years from a sandy brown to black to hide the marks acquired over those years.
I was hoping for a brilliant sun to bring the weathered white windows and "sliding barn door" up in brilliance while not having the black horse "disappear".
Maybe an "inverse" template?
Thanks Douglas!

I remember, we had a Palomino in our basement, I must have "ridden" that all across the West!

They were also a fixture outside department stores "back-in-the-day".
Now it is a F1 car costing a few bucks to ride for a few minutes!
Thanks brother!

I had one of those when I was a kid. Would have loved to give one to my kids when they were young. Looks way cheaper than the real horse my daughter had. Thanks for the memory and well captured photo. Eric.

This was a "staple" back in the day Eric!
I would rather have had a real pony/horse.
Thanks!

Nice, and no batteries required.
And it requires some physical exertion but then how many "kids" today like "physical exertion"? Now the mantra is "It's finger pop, poppin' time
Finger poppin', poppin' time
I feel so good..." an olde Hank Ballard & The Midnighters tune...smartphone use.
Thanks Bob!
