For sale is much beloved 40-150 f2.8 lens.
I will leave what I originally posted below for complete transparency. But, I took the lens to professional photo shop and they were able to do what I was unable to do prior to listing this lens; clean the front element. So what I originally posted about the front element is now incorrect and resolved. Lens looks great. I have added four photos of front element from different angles to document its condition. As a result I have changed the price from bargain to in line with prior sales of like condition.
Lens comes with front and rear lens covers, and OG lens hood that works smoothly. It also comes with 3rd party tripod collar.
Performance remains stellar, autofocus fast and reliable, images sharp with native lens and both tele-extenders. There frankly is no difference in performance and images rendered ...
The barrel is a 9+
The lens hood has some scrapes and scratches 8+
The optical performance remains a 9+, sharp and fast copy.

NO LONGER TRUE, HAS BEEN FIXED:
BUT... front element I have discovered is not pristine probably from improper lens cleaning that I frankly never noticed because image quality stellar. But it is what it is...8+
Rear lens element clean 9.
So hopefully you agree the price reflects this status.
